ISF – How To Give A Note: How To Take A Note (Virtual)

(By invitation to ISF Cohort members only)

In this week’s ISF session, Yaroslav Altunin will guide writers through the art of giving, receiving, and interpreting feedback—a core skill for any screenwriter.

The session will begin with a practical overview on how to approach notes with clarity and purpose, whether offering them to peers or applying them to one’s own work. Following the discussion, the group will move into a workshop session inspired by the UCLA MFA Screenwriting model. Writers are encouraged to bring pages drafted over the past week, which will be read aloud and workshopped collectively. The goal: to foster a space for honest, constructive critique and collaborative growth.
